Biography
Abdel Ghani El Nagdi was an Egyptian actor and writer. He was born on 6 December 1915 in the village of Al-Mashaya in Assiut Governorate and died on 20 March 1980.
He began his film career in 1944 with Mohamed Ali Street and appeared in numerous secondary roles, often as a doorman, servant, policeman or naïve villager, across more than 300 films from the 1940s to the 1970s. He is known for parts in The Blazing Sun (1954) and Cairo Station (1958). El Nagdi also contributed to screenplays, dialogue and songs for several films, including Agaza Bel-Afyia and Banat Bahri.
