Biography
Abigail Dankwa is a British television director specialising in multi-camera studio and fixed-rig work. She trained at the National Film and Television School.
She has directed episodes of Have I Got News for You since 2022, as well as series including Pointless (2023–), Pointless Celebrities, Lingo and Paul Sinha's TV Showdown. Other credits include The World According to Kaleb: On Tour (2024) and Grayson's Art Club.
Dankwa directed the BAFTA-winning Life and Rhymes and the RTS Award-winning revival of The Big Breakfast. She was named a BAFTA Breakthrough Brit in 2020 and worked on the London 2012 Olympic opening and closing ceremonies.
