Biography
Adam Targum is an American television writer, producer and showrunner. A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, he began his career after selling his first feature screenplay, The Good Student (2006). He joined the writing staff of the USA series The Dead Zone (2002) and went on to work on Blade: The Series (2006), Standoff (2006), Eleventh Hour (2008) and CSI: NY (2004).
In 2014 he joined the writing and producing team of the Cinemax series Banshee (2013), rising to executive producer and showrunner while also directing episodes of the companion series Banshee Origins (2013). Subsequent credits include Outcast (2016), NCIS: New Orleans (2014) and Warrior (2019). He has taught graduate screenwriting at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts.
