Biography
Adriana Asti was an Italian actress. She was born on 30 April 1931 in Milan and died on 31 July 2025 in Rome. She made her stage debut in 1951 and appeared in films from the late 1950s onwards.
Her film credits include the laundry worker in Luchino Visconti's Rocco and His Brothers (1960), Gina in Bernardo Bertolucci's Before the Revolution (1964), and Adriana Carati in Marco Tullio Giordana's The Best of Youth (2003). She also appeared in films by Pier Paolo Pasolini, Luis Buñuel and others. Asti worked extensively in theatre, including productions directed by Visconti and Giorgio Strehler.
She was married to directors Bernardo Bertolucci and Giorgio Ferrara. Asti received several awards, including Nastro d'Argento prizes for her performances.
