Biography
Adrien Borel was a French psychiatrist and psychoanalyst who appeared in one film role. Born in Paris in 1886, he trained in medicine and became a founder member of the Société psychanalytique de Paris, serving as its president from 1932 to 1934.
In 1950, under the pseudonym André Guibert, Borel played the Priest of Torcy in Robert Bresson's Diary of a Country Priest (1951), adapted from the novel by Georges Bernanos. He died in Beaumont-lès-Valence in 1966.
