Biography
Agda Helin, also credited as Agda Björkman, was a Swedish actress. She appeared in more than 60 films between 1912 and 1968, often in supporting roles.
Born Agda Kristina Helin on 27 October 1894 in Säby, Västmanlands län, she trained in singing and speech technique before working in theatre at venues including the Oscarsteatern and Vasateatern, as well as in revues and operettas. She was married to actor Johnny Björkman from 1915 to 1920.
Her film credits include uncredited roles in Ingmar Bergman films such as Hour of the Wolf (1968) as Von Merken's Maid, Shame (1968) as the Shopkeeper's Wife, Sawdust and Tinsel (1953), To Joy (1950) as a Nurse at the Maternity Ward, and Miss Julie (1951). She died on 10 February 1984 in Stockholm.
