Biography
Agnes Anne Rogers, also known as Aggie Guerard Rodgers, is an American costume designer. She graduated from California State University, Fresno in 1967 and earned an M.A. in theatre arts from California State University, Long Beach in 1969. She began her career as wardrobe supervisor at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco from 1967 to 1969.
Her early film credits include costume design on American Graffiti (1973), The Conversation (1974) and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975). She received the credit as Agnes Anne Rogers for Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978). Later work encompasses Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi (1983), for which she shared a Saturn Award, and an Academy Award nomination for The Color Purple (1985).
