Biography
Aida Young was a British film and television producer. Born in Stepney, London, she began her career in documentary films after the Second World War before moving into features and television production.
She worked as associate producer on Hammer Films productions including She (1965) and One Million Years B.C. (1966). As producer she is credited on Dracula Has Risen from the Grave (1968), Taste the Blood of Dracula (1970), Scars of Dracula (1970), When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth (1970) and Hands of the Ripper (1971). Her television credits include production roles on Danger Man and later series such as Covington Cross (1992).
Young was married to Gideon Young and died in Camden, London, in 2007.
