Biography
Ajay Gogavale is an Indian composer and one half of the music director duo Ajay-Atul, alongside his brother Atul Gogavale. The pair began their careers composing jingles, ballets and advertisements before moving into plays, private albums and films.
They are best known for their work on Marathi and Hindi films including Jogwa (2008), for which they received the National Film Award for Best Music Direction, PK (2014), Sairat (2016), Singham (2011), Agneepath (2012), Super 30 (2019) and Tumbbad (2018). They were the first Indian composers to record at Sony Scoring Studios in Hollywood, for Sairat.
