Biography
Akira Yamanouchi was a Japanese actor. Born in Tokyo on 11 July 1921, he appeared in more than 130 film and television roles from the 1940s until his death.
He is credited as Akira Yamauchi in several productions, including the role of Dr. Toru Yano in Godzilla vs. Hedorah (1971). Other appearances include The Human Condition III: A Soldier's Prayer (1961), Pigs and Battleships (1961), Tenchu! (1969), Hanzo the Razor: Sword of Justice (1972), Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart in the Land of Demons (1973) and The Bullet Train (1975).
Yamanouchi died in Tokyo on 29 October 1993.
