Biography
Alain Bainée is a French production designer and art director. He trained as an architect at the École Spéciale d’Architecture in Paris between 1980 and 1987.
He is credited as production designer on films including Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008), TransSiberian (2008), Blancanieves (2012), Stonehearst Asylum (2014), Society of the Snow (2023) and Rifkin’s Festival (2020). Bainée has received a Goya Award for best art direction for Blancanieves and Gaudí Awards for Blancanieves and TransSiberian, along with further nominations.
