Biography
Alan Curtis was an American actor. Born Harry Ueberroth in Chicago, Illinois, he began his career as a model before making his screen debut in the late 1930s.
He appeared in over 50 films, including roles as Babe in High Sierra (1941), Bob Martin in Buck Privates (1941), Scott Henderson in Phantom Lady (1944) and Mark Foster in The Invisible Man's Revenge (1944). He also featured in Hollywood Cavalcade (1939) and played Franz Schubert in New Wine (1941).
Curtis was married to actresses Priscilla Lawson and Ilona Massey. He died in New York City in 1953 and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
