Biography
Albert Riéra (1895–1968) was a French screenwriter, assistant director and later television director. He collaborated with Jean Vigo on two films, serving as assistant director on Zero for Conduct (1933) and contributing to the screenplay, adaptation and dialogue of L'Atalante (1934).
Riéra was born in Banyuls-sur-Mer and died in Paris. He also directed the short film Le Pigeon (1936) and wrote the screenplay for La grande vie (1951). In later decades he worked extensively in French television as a director and writer.
