Biography
Albert Viguier was a French cinematographer, camera operator and assistant camera. Born in Paris in 1911, he began working in cinema as a child actor in the silent film Le lion des Mogols (1924) before moving into the camera department.
He served as one of the cinematographers on Marcel Carné's Daybreak (1939). His other credits include assistant camera on A Day in the Country (1946) and camera operator on films such as From Mayerling to Sarajevo (1940) and Fanfan la Tulipe (1952). He also worked as director of photography on several short films in the 1930s and 1950s. Viguier died in 2001.
