Biography
Alberto Guerra is a Cuban and Mexican actor. Born in Havana in 1982, he moved to Mexico at the age of 13 and began his career in the Telemundo telenovela Vale todo (2002).
He is known for his roles in the series El Señor de los Cielos (2018–2020) as José María "Chema" Venegas, Narcos: Mexico (2021) as Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada, and Griselda (2024) as Darío Sepúlveda. His film credits include Arráncame la vida (2008), Loca por el trabajo (2018), Pimpinero: Blood and Oil (2024) and Ha-Chan, Shake Your Booty! (2026) as Fedir.
Guerra has been married to actress Zuria Vega since 2014.
