Biography
Aleksandar Hemon is a Bosnian-American author and screenwriter. Born in Sarajevo in 1964, he arrived in the United States in 1992 and began publishing short stories in English in the mid-1990s. His novels include Nowhere Man (2002) and The Lazarus Project (2008).
Hemon has worked as a screenwriter with Lana Wachowski and David Mitchell. Their collaborations include the finale of the Netflix series Sense8 (2018) and the film The Matrix Resurrections (2021). He is a MacArthur Foundation fellow and professor of creative writing at Princeton University.
