Biography
Alessandro Cicoria is an Italian artist, film-maker and production designer. Born in Giulianova in 1980 and based in Rome, he works across sculpture, drawing, photography and film, often exploring themes of time, perception and archival material.
He appeared as an actor in The Tale of King Crab (2021). Cicoria served as production designer on Electra (2024), for which he received the Festival Prize for Production Design at the Dallas International Film Festival. He has also directed short works and maintains an active exhibition practice, including residencies and shows at institutions such as MACRO in Rome.
