Biography
Alex Almaguer is an American writer, storyboard artist and director. He attended the California Institute of the Arts from 1994 to 1996 and began working in animation at Cartoon Network from 1998, contributing as a storyboard artist and writer on series including The Powerpuff Girls (1998), The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy (2001), Chowder (2007) and Fish Hooks (2010).
Almaguer wrote episodes of Phineas and Ferb (2007). He later worked as a director on Dawn of the Croods (2015), Trolls: The Beat Goes On! (2018) and Trolls: TrollsTopia (2020). He has been married to Holly Almaguer since 1986.
