Biography

Alex Colon was a Puerto Rican actor who appeared in films and television from the early 1970s until the mid-1990s. Born in San Juan, he moved to New York in 1970 and made his Broadway debut that year in Neil Simon's The Gingerbread Lady, playing a delivery boy.

His film roles included the delivery boy in The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974), appearances in Harry and Tonto (1974), Invasion U.S.A. (1985), Red Scorpion (1988), The Mighty Quinn (1989), Deep Cover (1992) as Molto, and The Getaway (1994). On television he featured in episodes of The A-Team, MacGyver, Quantum Leap and Murder, She Wrote. He also directed occasional stage productions in New York, Los Angeles and Puerto Rico. Colon died in Los Angeles in 1995.
