Biography
Alex Usborne is a British film producer. He produced The Acid House (1998), directed by Paul McGuigan and adapted by Irvine Welsh from his own short stories.
Usborne co-founded the production company 104 Films with Justin Edgar in 2004. The company specialises in creating opportunities for disabled and disadvantaged talent in front of and behind the camera. He previously worked with Picture Palace North in Sheffield on early projects including the documentary Tales from a Hard City (1995).
His other producer credits include Large (2001), Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll (2010), Notes on Blindness (2016) and Unrest (2017). He has received an MBE.
