Biography
Alexander Dreymon is a German actor. Born Alexander Doetsch on 7 February 1983 in Munich, he grew up in several countries and trained for three years at Drama Centre London after studying in Paris. He worked on stage in London and Paris before making his screen debut.
Dreymon is best known for portraying Uhtred of Bebbanburg in the series The Last Kingdom (2015–2022), in which he also directed an episode and served as producer. Other notable credits include Christopher and His Kind (2011), American Horror Story: Coven (2013), Resistance (2011) and the film The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die (2023).
