Biography
Alexander Hacke is a German composer, musician and record producer. Born in Berlin in 1965, he joined the experimental band Einstürzende Neubauten in 1980 at the age of 14. He has also performed and recorded under the names Alexander von Borsig, with Crime & the City Solution and with Sprung aus den Wolken.
Hacke has composed music for several films, including Head-On (2004) directed by Fatih Akın, for which he contributed tracks to the soundtrack. He also scored The Cut (2014) and Eight Miles High (2007). In addition to his film work, he has collaborated with numerous artists across genres and released solo albums.
