Biography

Alexander Pschill is an Austrian actor. Born on 13 June 1970 in Vienna, he trained at the Cornish College of the Arts Professional Acting Conservatory in Seattle from 1989 to 1993, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

He is known for his role as Marc Hoffmann (and earlier as Seidl) in the television series Kommissar Rex (Inspector Rex) from 1995 to 2004, and for appearances in 71 Fragments of a Chronology of Chance (1995) as Hanno and Corsage (2022) as Georg Raab, Painter of the Court. Other television work includes Die Lottosieger (2009–2012) and SOKO Linz (from 2022).

Pschill has also worked extensively in theatre and received the ROMY Shooting Star award in 2001 as most popular newcomer actor, along with a Nestroy nomination for best newcomer actor.
