Biography
Alexandra Gilbreath is an English actress. She was born on 28 March 1969 in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire, and trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
She is an Associate Artist with the Royal Shakespeare Company and has appeared in productions including Romeo and Juliet, The Taming of the Shrew, The Winter's Tale and Twelfth Night. She received the 1996 Ian Charleson Award for her performance in Hedda Gabler and was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actress and a Helen Hayes Award.
Her screen credits include Monarch of the Glen (2000) as Stella Moon, Not Going Out (2006) as Lucy Moss, Tulip Fever (2017) as Lysbeth, Becoming Elizabeth (2022) as Kat Ashley, and the narrator role in The Covenant (2023).
