Biography
Alexandra La Roche is a Canadian television director. She began her career as an actor before working as a script supervisor for over twenty years on productions including The X-Files (1998) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). She started directing in 2005 with the short film Wait for Me and made her television directorial debut on The Dead Zone in 2007, later directing episodes of Eureka.
La Roche has directed multiple episodes of series including The Flash (2017–2021), Arrow (2018), DC's Legends of Tomorrow (2017–2021), Riverdale (2019), Supergirl (2018–2021), FROM (2023–2026), Wild Cards (2024–2026) and House of David (2025). She trained at York University, where she earned a BFA in theatre performance, and also studied acting in Bordeaux, France. She is based in British Columbia.
