Biography
Alexandre Aja, also credited as Alexandre Jouan-Arcady, is a French film director, producer and screenwriter. He was born on 7 August 1978 in Paris and is the son of director Alexandre Arcady.
Aja began his career in France with the horror film High Tension (2003), which he directed and wrote. He later moved to American productions, directing The Hills Have Eyes (2006), Mirrors (2008), Piranha 3D (2010), Horns (2013), Crawl (2019) — on which he also served as producer — Oxygen (2021) and Never Let Go (2024).
