Biography
Alexis Cruz is an American actor. He was born on 29 September 1974 in The Bronx, New York, of Puerto Rican descent, and trained at the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and at Boston University.
Cruz is known for his role as Skaara in the 1994 film Stargate and its continuation in Stargate SG-1 (1997–2003). He played the recurring character Rafael in Touched by an Angel (1997–2003) and assistant district attorney Martin Allende in the series Shark (2006–2007). He has also appeared in episodes of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Castle, FBI and other series, and in the film Drag Me to Hell (2009). He has received two ALMA Award nominations.
