Biography
Alfréd Járai was a Hungarian actor. He appeared in several films directed by Béla Tarr, including as Halics in Satantango (1994), as Lajos Harrer in Werckmeister Harmonies (2000) and in The Man from London (2007).
Járai began acting in smaller film roles in the 1980s and took parts in other Hungarian productions, such as Az alkimista és a szüz (1999) and A halál kilovagolt Perzsiából (2005). He died on 1 December 2023. His son, Máté Járai, is also an actor.
