Biography
Aliki Theofilopoulos is an American animator, writer, producer and director. She was born in La Jolla, California, attended the University of Southern California, and began her career in 1995 as an animation trainee at Walt Disney Feature Animation. She worked as an animator on films including Hercules (1997), Tarzan (1999), Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001) and Treasure Planet (2002).
She moved into television as a storyboard artist, writer and lyricist. Theofilopoulos spent several years on the Disney series Phineas and Ferb (2007–2014), writing and storyboarding episodes and co-writing songs, one of which received an Emmy nomination. She also voiced the character Mandy in two episodes. Later credits include directing Descendants: Wicked World (2015) and serving as executive producer on series such as Harvey Girls Forever! (2018–2020), Doug Unplugs (2020–2022) and Zombies: The Re-Animated Series (2024).
