Biography
Alina Budnikova was a Soviet and Russian costume designer. Born in Moscow on 19 July 1942, she graduated in 1964 from the Moscow Theatrical Art and Technical College specialising in costume design. From 1970 she worked at Mosfilm, later contributing to television projects including the series Starye pesni o glavnom.
She designed costumes for more than thirty films. Her credits include At Home Among Strangers, a Stranger Among His Own (1974), The Ascent (1977), Air Crew (1980), The Pokrovsky Gates (1983), Intergirl (1989) and Tycoon (2002). Budnikova died in Moscow on 10 February 2013.
