Biography
Alison Eastwood is an American actress and film director. Born on 22 May 1972 in Santa Monica, California, she is the daughter of actor and director Clint Eastwood and Margaret Neville Johnson. She attended Santa Catalina School and Stevenson School, and studied at the University of California, Santa Barbara, without graduating.
Eastwood began acting as a child, appearing uncredited in Bronco Billy (1980) and Any Which Way You Can (1980). She played Amanda Block in her father’s film Tightrope (1984), for which she received a Young Artist Award nomination. Later roles include Mandy Nicholls in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (1997), an art student in Absolute Power (1997), and Iris in The Mule (2018). She made her directorial debut with Rails & Ties (2007), starring Kevin Bacon and Marcia Gay Harden. She has also worked as a model and founded the Eastwood Ranch Foundation, an animal welfare organisation.
