Biography
Almudena Ramírez-Pantanella is a Spanish playwright, screenwriter and director. Born in Madrid in 1988, she studied media and cinematography and completed a master's degree in theatre creation in 2016.
In 2015 she won the Calderón de la Barca National Theatre Prize for her play Los amos del mundo. Her screenwriting credits include two episodes of the Netflix series Money Heist in 2019. She has taken part in international residencies at the Royal Court Theatre in London and other institutions, and combines her writing with teaching and doctoral studies in literary studies.
