Biography
Amanda Johnson-Zetterström is a writer and producer. She has writing credits on the Netflix series The Diplomat (2023) and You (2018–2025), for which she has also served as co-executive producer, supervising producer and story editor. She was co-producer on the feature film Short Term 12 (2013) and wrote the short film Tic (2019).
She was a founding member of the New York-based production company Animal Kingdom, where she co-produced Short Term 12 and contributed to the development of films including It Follows, Kicks and Louder Than Bombs. Earlier credits include researcher on the television film Paterno (2018) and creative executive on Louder Than Bombs (2015). She is based in Los Angeles.
Johnson-Zetterström received nominations for a Producers Guild of America Award and Writers Guild of America Awards for her work on The Diplomat.
