Biography
Amy Davidson Sorkin is an American journalist and magazine editor. She joined The New Yorker in 1995 and has been a staff writer since 2014, contributing regularly to the Comment section on politics and international affairs. She previously held editorial roles at the magazine, including senior editor and executive editor of Newyorker.com.
Davidson Sorkin graduated from Harvard University with an AB in Social Studies. She appears as herself in the 2025 documentary Cover-Up.
