Biography
Amy McIntyre is a British director and former script supervisor. She trained on a practical filmmaking course at Manchester Film School and directed short films including Carbooty (2012) and Campbell's Journey (2012), for which she received Royal Television Society awards.
She joined Bridgerton as script supervisor two weeks before principal photography on season one in 2019. McIntyre has worked on every season of the series, as well as Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story (2023). She progressed to second unit director and made her main unit directorial debut on an episode of season four.
