Biography
Anchuli Felicia King is a playwright and screenwriter of Thai-Australian descent. She has written episodes for the HBO series The Sympathizer (2024), on which she also served as story editor, as well as The Baby (2022), Mary and George (2024), The Twelve (2022–2024) and Deadloch (2023).
Her plays include White Pearl, which premiered at the Royal Court Theatre in London in 2019, and Golden Shield, produced by Melbourne Theatre Company in 2019 and staged Off-Broadway at Manhattan Theatre Club in 2022. She has received the Sydney Theatre Company Patrick White Fellowship (2020) and the Mona Brand Emerging Writer Award (2020).
