Biography
András Kozák was a Hungarian actor. He was born on 23 February 1943 in Vencsellő (now Gávavencsellő), Hungary, and died on 24 February 2005 in Budapest.
He graduated from the Academy of Drama and Film in Budapest in 1965. Kozák began his career at the Szigligeti Theatre in Szolnok before joining the Thália Theatre in 1966, where he remained until 1991. He appeared in more than seventy films from 1962 onwards, including roles in several works by Miklós Jancsó.
His film credits include My Way Home (1965), The Round-Up (1966) as Ifj. Kabai, and The Red and the White (1967) as Laszlo. He was married to actress Andrea Drahota and received awards including the Jászai Mari Prize (twice) and the Kossuth Prize.
