Biography
Andrea Balency-Béarn is a French-Mexican composer of contemporary and film music, also credited earlier as Andrea Balency. Born in Paris and raised in Mexico City, she is based in London, where she is pursuing a PhD in composition at the Royal Academy of Music.
She began scoring films in 2020 and is known for her work on the feature Dance of the 41 (2020) and the series The Head of Joaquín Murrieta (2023). She composed the score for the feature On the Road (also known as En el Camino, 2025), co-scored the BBC series Kidnapped (2024), and has credits on Dust (2026) and Three Years Gone. She also performs with the band Mount Kimbie.
