Biography

Andrés Gertrúdix is a Spanish actor born on 4 February 1977 in Madrid. He trained at the Escuela Internacional de Teatro Juan Carlos Corazza in Madrid and made his stage debut in the United States in a production of Hello, Dolly!.

He began his screen career with shorts and made his feature debut in La pistola de mi hermano (1997). He is known for roles including Javi in El Bola (2000), Enrique in The Orphanage (2007), Francisco Morán Ruiz in The Ministry of Time (2015–2016), Padre Raúl in May God Save Us (2016), Golum in Below Zero (2021), and Teniente Coronel Castro in She Walks in Darkness (2025). He has also appeared in The Backwoods (2006), Gold (2017), and The Other Way Around (2024).

Gertrúdix received a Biznaga de Plata for best actor for the short Verano, o los defectos de Andrés (2006) and was nominated for a Goya Award for best actor for Morir (2017). His partner is actress Marián Álvarez.
