Biography
Angela Punch McGregor (born 21 January 1953) is an Australian stage and film actress. She trained at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney, graduating in 1973.
She is known for her roles as Gilda Marshall in The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith (1978) and Fay in Newsfront (1978), both of which earned her Australian Film Institute awards. Other film credits include The Island (1980), We of the Never Never (1982) and Annie's Coming Out (1984). She has appeared in television series including Home and Away and Troppo (2022), and has worked extensively in theatre.
Punch McGregor is married to director and screenwriter Ross McGregor, her former drama teacher.
