Biography
Angie Cepeda, born Angélica María Cepeda Jiménez, is a Colombian actress. She was born on 2 August 1974 in Cartagena de Indias and raised in Barranquilla. She is the younger sister of actress Lorna Cepeda.
Cepeda began her career in Colombian telenovelas in the 1990s, including Las Juanas (1997), Luz María (1998) and Pobre Diabla (2000). Her film roles include Captain Pantoja and the Special Services (2000) and Love in the Time of Cholera (2007). In 2021 she voiced Julieta Madrigal in the Disney film Encanto, reprising the role in the Spanish and Italian versions.
