Biography
Anita Lochner is a German actress, voice actress and translator. She was born on 24 April 1950 in Frankfurt am Main and holds American citizenship. After attending the Französisches Gymnasium in Berlin, she studied theatre at the Freie Universität Berlin and trained for five semesters at the Max-Reinhardt-Schule.
Lochner began her screen career with the role of Kathy in Jerzy Skolimowski’s Deep End (1970). She appeared in German television series including Derrick (as Andrea Königer), Tatort and Der Landarzt, and in films such as Und der Regen verwischt jede Spur (1972) and Das Brot des Bäckers (1976). She has also worked extensively as a voice artist, providing the German dubbing for actresses including Isabelle Adjani, Miou-Miou and Samantha Bond.
