Biography
Ankit Tiwari is an Indian playback singer, music director and composer. He was born on 6 March 1986 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He trained in classical music and began his career composing jingles and television background scores after meeting Pradeep Sarkar.
Tiwari made his film debut as composer on Do Dooni Chaar (2010) and Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster (2011), also singing on the latter. He is known for his work on Aashiqui 2 (2013), Ek Villain (2014), PK (2014), Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2015), Baaghi (2016), Rustom (2016), Wazir (2016) and Badhaai Do (2022). He won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer for 'Galliyan' from Ek Villain.
