Biography
Anna Drubich is a Russian composer and pianist. Born Anna Solovieva Drubich on 27 June 1984 in Moscow, she is the daughter of film director Sergey Solovyov and actress Tatyana Drubich. She began piano lessons at the age of eight, studied at the Moscow Chopin Music College and earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts between 2002 and 2008.
Her first film score, written with Andrei Golovin for the 2002 Russian film About Love, won Best Music at the Kinotavr Film Festival. After further studies in film scoring at the University of Southern California, she has composed for more than 35 film and television projects. Notable credits include Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (2019, with Marco Beltrami), the Fear Street trilogy (2021), Werewolves Within (2021), Barbarian (2022), Sting (2024) and the documentary Navalny (2022).
