Biography
Anna Geislerová is a Czech actress. Born in Prague in 1976, she began her career as a teenager, making her feature debut at the age of 14 in Filip Renč's Requiem pro panenku (1991). She has also worked as a model.
Geislerová is best known for her roles in Návrat idiota (The Idiot Returns, 1999) and as Eliška/Hana in Želary (2003), the latter nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. She has received five Czech Lion awards for acting. Other credits include Anthropoid (2016), The Catcher Was a Spy (2018) and the series The Ipcress File (2022). She appears as Gerd in the film & Sons (2026).
She is married to director Zdeněk Janáček.
