Biography
Anna Meredith is a Scottish composer, producer and performer of acoustic and electronic music. Born in London in 1978, she moved to Edinburgh as a child and studied at Napier University, the University of York and the Royal College of Music. She served as composer in residence with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra from 2004.
Meredith's first feature film score was for Eighth Grade (2018), directed by Bo Burnham. Her other film and television work includes scores for Living with Yourself (2019), Help (2021), The End We Start From (2023), Tuesday (2024) and Wicker (2026). She was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2019 for services to music.
