Biography
Anthony Filosa was an American actor and retired California judicial commissioner. Born in San Diego on 2 January 1940, he served in the US Coast Guard and spent over fifty years with the Los Angeles Municipal Courts, rising from the mail room to Court Commissioner in 1988 before retiring in 1999.
He appeared as a contestant on the game show Press Your Luck in 1983. Filosa was best known for his recurring role as Self - Ret. Judicial Commissioner on the Comedy Central series Nathan for You (2013–2017), advising host Nathan Fielder on legal matters across several episodes. He died in Los Angeles on 4 July 2018.
