Biography
Anthony Jaswinski is a screenwriter, producer and director. After graduating from New York University he entered the Academy Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting competition several times before winning; he sold a pitch to Warner Bros. shortly afterwards. He has worked professionally as a screenwriter since the late 1990s, writing specs from New York.
Jaswinski wrote the screenplay for the thriller The Shallows (2016). His other credits include the screenplays for Vanishing on 7th Street (2010), Kristy (2014), Satanic (2016) and Mary (2019). He also wrote and directed the feature Killing Time (2002), which screened at Sundance. Additional writing credits include Love You to Death (2019) and Backwoods (2008).
