Biography
Anthony Pun Yiu-ming (Chinese: 潘耀明), also credited as Anthony Pun, is a Hong Kong cinematographer and director. He began working in the film industry in the 1980s and made his debut as a cinematographer in 1994. Pun served as an apprentice to cinematographer Joe Chan Kwong-hung.
He is known for frequent collaborations with director Benny Chan and has worked as director of photography on films including New Police Story (2004), Rob-B-Hood (2006), Shaolin (2011), Monster Hunt (2015) and The Goldfinger (2023). Pun won the Golden Horse Award for Best Cinematography for Divergence (2005) and has received multiple Hong Kong Film Award nominations for Best Cinematography, winning for The Silent War (2012) and The Goldfinger (2023).
Pun made his directorial debut co-directing the 2017 crime film Extraordinary Mission with Alan Mak. He has since directed One More Chance (2023) and Cesium Fallout (2024).
