Biography
Antoine Perez is a French animation director and art director based in London. He began his career in animation after completing studies at animation school and joined the production of The Amazing World of Gumball on its first season.
Perez worked on the series as a background artist, layout artist, art director for seasons one to four, assistant director for seasons two to five, and episode director for seasons five and six. He also received a writing credit on one episode. After a decade on the show he moved to the London studio The Line, where he has directed music videos, game trailers and short films including the 2022 short Si ça ne marche pas aujourd'hui, ça marchera peut-être demain.
